Where to go hiking

Throughout the spring and autumn months local nature several hiking routes to Donovaly, Šachtičky, Kremincké vrchy, Pánsky diel, Suchý vrch and others. You can also take a trip to Harmanecká jaskyňa – a cave, historically famous valley Špania dolina or you can absolve a religious pilgrimage in Staré hory. It takes 10 minutes to get to the town centre, where you can visit the State opera, theatre, gallery, cinema, shopping centre or a new swimming pool with a sweatlodge.
